New Orleans police are hoping the public can help them find a black SUV wanted in connection to a shootout Tuesday afternoon on Thalia Street, authorities said.

The shooting took place around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the 3500 block of Thalia, according to the report.

“The victim reported that a black vehicle drove by and an unknown occupant of the vehicle began shooting at him with an unknown weapon. The victim ran from the scene and the vehicle sped off,” the report states. “The vehicle appeared to have at least three occupants and is said to have damage to the driver side and possibly has a shattered window.”

The SUV was caught on surveillance camera from multiple angles, included in the video above, according to police.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NOPD Sixth District station at 658-6060 to speak to a detective, or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
