Three people arrested in connection with armed robbery on Delachaise Street

Three people were arrested this week in the investigation into an armed robbery on Delachaise Street, New Orleans police said.

The robbery took place Aug. 12 in the 700 block of Delachaise Street.

The suspects were all arrested Wednesday in Kenner on charges of armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery and criminal conspiracy, according to the NOPD report. They were identified as:

  • Daquan Davis, 19, who was found in the 2600 block of Dawson Street,
  • Eric Bridgewater, 21, in the 1000 block of 27th Street, and
  • Ralph Holmes, 19, in the 3000 block of Dawson Street.

Investigators searched each of the locations where the suspects were found and a location in the 2800 block of Richland Street in Kenner, and they found a black-and-silver Smith & Wesson 9-mm handgun in the 3000 block of Dawson, the report states.

NOPD Sixth District Detective Paul Pettengill led the investigation, and the NOPD VOWS Unit, U.S. Marshals Task Force, Sixth District DIU and members of the Kenner Police Department assisted with the arrest.
