Teen robbed at gunpoint on Jena Street, police say

A 19-year-old was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday evening on Jena Street in the Freret neighborhood, New Orleans police said.

The victim was in the 2400 block of Jena (near LaSalle Street) around 10:45 p.m. when he was confronted by a man armed with a gun who took his belongings, according to the initial NOPD report.
