New Orleans police are hoping the public can help identify two different suspects caught on surveillance video in a rash of shoplifting cases at the Circle K on South Claiborne and a package theft on Vendome Place in Fontainebleau, authorities said.

One man is wanted in four different shoplifting cases at the Circle K store near Calhoun Street that took place on Sept. 9, Oct. 11, Nov. 1 and Nov. 7, according to the news release in that case.

“In each incident, the suspect would enter the store in the 6200 block South Claiborne Avenue between 6:15 a.m. and 7:25 a.m.,” the report states. “The suspect would then take two to three cases of Budweiser beer and flee the location.”

In the package theft, a resident of the 4000 block of Vendome Place (near Nashville Avenue) had two packages delivered and left on her front porch around 12:30 p.m. Nov. 20, according to the report in that case. When she came home, she found both packages missing, and her video security cameras showed a man taking them, the report in that case states.

Anyone who can help identify either of the men is urged to call the NOPD Second District station at 658-6020 to speak to a detective, or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
