Investigators have identified the two men who shot a man outside a popular Uptown bar in an apparent robbery of his cell phone, and they are now searching for the suspects to arrest them, police said.

The victim had stepped outside the bar with his cell phone around 3 a.m. Feb. 16 when two men appeared, began fighting with him and subsequently shot him, based on video of the robbery released afterward.
Based on an anonymous tip to the CrimeStoppers hotline, investigators were subsequently able to identify the robbers as Shaquille Cooper, 19, and Gregg Kagler, 20, police said in a news release Saturday.
