The two suspects in a robbery and shooting outside The Saint bar on St. Mary Street two weeks ago remain at large, and police are seeking the public’s help in finding them.
Shaquille Cooper, 19, and Gregg Kagler, 20, were identified by police as the two robbers shown in a surveillance video attacking and shooting a patron of The Saint shortly after he stepped outside to use his cell phone about 3 a.m. Feb. 16.
Cooper and Kagler had yet to be found as of Tuesday afternoon, said NOPD Public Information Officer Hilal Williams. Anyone with information as to their whereabouts should call CrimeStoppers at 822-1111.
Cooper was also awaiting trial on gun charges, while Kagler had previously been arrested on a robbery charge, according to court records.
A recent TV news report stating that the Cooper and Kagler had been arrested was incorrect, Williams said.
