A man was shot Wednesday morning on South Claiborne Avenue near the busy Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard intersection approaching downtown, New Orleans police said.
The shooting investigation is in the 2000 block of South Claiborne, said NOPD spokeswoman Dawne Massey around 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 8.
Further details were not immediately available. Anyone with information is urged to call the NOPD Sixth District station at 658-6060 to speak to a detective, or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
