New Orleans police are investigating the rape of a teenage girl Saturday reported in Central City, authorities said.
The rape was reported Tuesday afternoon at Simon Bolivar and Jackson avenues, according to the initial NOPD report.
“A 15-year-old female told a school counselor that she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown male on March 11, 2017,” said NOPD spokeswoman Dawne Massey. “No further information or description was provided.”
