New Orleans police searching for suspect in Magazine Street sexual assault

New Orleans police are looking for a man accused in an October sexual assault on Magazine Street, police said.

The victim in the case told police she was sexually assaulted in the 2500 block of Magazine Street by 34-year-old William Brayman around 4 a.m. Oct. 9, according to the police report.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Jounay Thomas-Ross of the Sex Crimes Division at 658-5523, or to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
