A man in his 60s was forcibly robbed by two assailants on Louisiana Avenue overnight, New Orleans police said Friday morning.

The victim was near Louisiana Avenue and Baronne Street around 12:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, when a gray two-door Nissan pulled up and two men got out of it, demanding his money, according to the initial NOPD report. One of the men then put his hand in the victim’s pocket and pulled cash out of it, and they then drove off, the report states.

Further details were not immediately available. Anyone with information is urged to call the NOPD Sixth District station at 658-6060 to speak to a detective, or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
