A landlord entered his tenants’ apartment Monday afternoon on Upperline Street and attacked them with a knife, New Orleans police said.
Shortly after 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, the landlord entered an apartment occupied by three men — one aged 31, and the other two both aged 27 — in the 2900 block of Upperline Street “unannounced with a key,” according to the initial NOPD report.
“The landlord produced a knife and held the victims inside of the location at knifepoint,” the report states. “The victims were transported to a local hospital via EMS for lacerations.”
Further details, such as the extent of their injuries or whether the landlord was arrested, were unavailable Tuesday morning.
