Three juveniles injured in Central City shooting

Three junveiles were shot in Central City on Sunday, the New Orleans Police Department reported.

The victims were standing outside in the 2500 block of Second Street at about 7:20 p.m. when they heard shots and ran toward Freret Street to escape the bullets. As they were running, they all realized they had been struck by gunfire. EMS transported the victims to an emergency room for treatment.

Three gunmen involved in the shooting, according to the NOPD. They fled the location in an unknown direction.
