The victim of a rear-end crash Friday afternoon had her own car taken by the passenger of the vehicle who hit her, New Orleans police said.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, the 18-year-old woman was driving in the 3600 block of Pine Street (near Palm Street) when a red vehicle with four women inside rear-ended her, according to the NOPD report.

“The victim got out of her vehicle to check for damages, and the passenger of the red vehicle got into the victim’s vehicle and fled,” the report states.
