Audubon Charter School has selected the Gentilly Terrace school building as its top preference for a location to create a second school, its leaders told neighbors there last week.

The new school would combine several features of the Uptown school, instructing students in French and using Montessori techniques to teach the Louisiana curriculum, principal Latoye Brown said to the neighborhood association on Wednesday.
