Faubourg Avart to host LaToya Cantrell at neighborhood meeting

FANAThe Faubourg Avart Neighborhood Association — which formed last year to represent the area between Prytania and the river, from Upperline to Valmont — will host City Councilwoman LaToya Cantrell for a discussion of quality-of-life issues at a meeting tonight (Wednesday, April 23) at St. Katharine Drexel Prep, 5116 Magazine.

The meeting will also include comments from Graham Bosworth, a candidate for Criminal District Court judge, and from representatives of a development at 5243 Tchoupitoulas, a proposed dentist’s office that was rejected for business zoning by the City Planning Commission on Tuesday.
