Tulane and Loyola universities and the New Orleans Police Department will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, March 6) about public safety issues around the Uptown area.

Loyola University New Orleans, in conjunction with the New Orleans Police Department and Tulane University, will host a safety town hall meeting on its campus on Tuesday, March 6 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the St. Charles Room of the Danna Student Center.
The meeting is open to the public and will provide information about recent crimes committed in the university area and other valuable safety information. Free parking is available in the West Road Garage.
Loyola Police Chief Pat Bailey and Tulane Superintendent of Police Jon Barnwell will discuss recent crimes committed against students, while N.O.P.D. Commander Paul Noel will be on hand to update the community on efforts to track recent suspects and offer information on recent arrests.
A question and answer session will follow the presentations, and light refreshments will be provided. The town hall meeting is presented by Loyola’s Office of Student Affairs.
