Tipitina’s Foundation will host its 4th annual Rhythm & Blues 5k run this Saturday, September 26. The event will feature five school marching bands performing for race participants and a post-run festival outside Tipitina’s. Proceeds from the run will benefit Tipitina’s Foundation.
Registration for the 4th annual Rhythm & Blues 5k run will take place at 4 p.m., and the race will start at 5 p.m. The route will start and finish at Tipitina’s, located on 501 Napoleon Avenue. Participants are encouraged to costume as their favorite musicians or band members for a chance to win a prize race day.
