District A City Councilwoman Susan Guidry is hosting a town-hall discussion Thursday night of crime trends and crime prevention, featuring New Orleans police officials and CrimesStoppers.
The commanders of the First, Second, and Third Districts — which stretch from Uptown and Carrollton through Mid-City and Treme into Lakeview and Gentilly — will be present to answer specific questions, Guidry’s office announced.
The meeting will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at Central St. Matthew United Church of Christ, 1333 S. Carrollton Ave.
One way Susan Guidry can address the “crime trends and crime prevention” in this ailing city is for her to resign immediately. In truth, like Mitch Landrieu, she is part of the problem and has offered zero solutions to date.
