New Orleans police are searching for a suspect in connection with a package theft from an Irish Channel front porch.
The incident occurred Feb. 19 around 4 p.m. A vehicle was seen stopping in front of a residence in the 500 block of Fourth Street. A man was seen getting out of the vehicle, approaching a residence and stealing two packages. He then fled the scene.
The car appears to be a late-model black Volkswagen Golf with a hubcap missing on the rear passenger side. The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants, white shoes and had a jacket over his face.
