The current operator of Parasol’s will open a new bar called Tracey’s on Sept. 2 at 2604 Magazine St., the current location of the Irish Garden bar, while the longtime owner of Parasol’s has a new tenant in mind who he says will take it back to its sandwich-shop roots.
Meanwhile, New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co. will open its seventh location – which will include a full bar plus coffee and beignet shop – in November at the current site of Cannon’s, 4141 St. Charles Ave. No word yet on Cannon’s plans, other than “moving out.”
