The New Generation Social Aid and Pleasure Club has released the route for its 10th anniversary second-line today. The parade begins at noon and rolls throughout Central City and part of Uptown, with Queen Desimarie Des Labry presiding.
Start: La Salle and Washington. Proceed up Washington to Loyola. Right on Loyola to Louisiana. Left on Louisiana.
Stop: LeRoux, 1700 Louisiana Ave. Left on Carondelet to Washington Ave. Left on Washington to Dryades. Right on Dryades.
Stop: Sportsman’s Bar, Second St. Proceed up Second. Right onto Simon Bolivar. Left on Felicity to S. Liberty. Right on Liberty.
Stop: Dorothy’s Lounge, 1528 S. Liberty. Proceed up S. Liberty to Martin Luther King Blvd. Left on MLK.
Godmother’s House, MLK and Magnolia. Proceed up MLK to S. Galvez. Left on S. Galvez to Toledano. Left on Toledano to S. Claiborne. Left on Louisiana Ave.
Stop: Jazzy Daiquiris, 3400 S. Claiborne. Proceed down to Louisiana to LeRoux.
