The Lycée Français de la Nouvelle Orléans board of directors will discuss the school’s budget for the coming year at their regularly monthly meeting tonight, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. at 5401 S. Claiborne Avenue.

I heard that the new building is currently being painted. Is the Lycee paying for this? Have they ensured that all regulations have been followed? I’m pretty sure the building was built at a time when lead paint was used. Is there still lead paint? Has the building been tested for lead paint? Will the cost of painting and remediation (if necessary) going to be discussed at tonight’s budget meeting
