The operators deem the event — 6 p.m. Wednesday at the club at 8200 Willow Street — an opportunity to introduce themselves personally, to discuss the plans for the club, “to address concerns and answer any questions,” according to the invitation. Club owner Jimmy Anselmo said he also hopes it will be a forum for neighbors to show their support or perhaps sign a petition, as well as discuss the club’s operations.
In addition to neighbors and members of the surrounding Carrollton-Riverbend Neighborhood Association, City Councilwoman Susan Guidry has also been invited. The event is open to the public, Anselmo said.
Jambalaya and drinks will be served.
2 things. 1. Is Susan Guidry showing up for this meeting? And, that moron Ah Contraire, will he show up, saying that everyone is NOLA is a loser and that all business have left NOLA?

Rep. Bill Kennemer, who is skeptical about changing the procedure, made the statement, “We just don’t want to get to be like Louisiana, where you have drive-up daiquiri shops.”
Open House during the SUMMER? How about Open House during FRAT WEEK when the local universities are in regular session?
That is, Open House for the universities that Jimmy’s needs to draw from to book music.
“But one sticking point has emerged — whether to allow customers younger than 21 inside the bar to hear music. In order to book bands that draw an audience from the nearby universities, Jimmy’s needs to be able to admit customers age 18 and older, Tifft said.”

Wouldn’t that be more realistic to what life and nights would be as opposed to now? The slowest part of the year for New Orleans?
I didn’t ask your opinion about Oregon or there huge meth problem. I asked if you were coming to the open house? It is a simple yes, I am coming to defend my point, or no, because I live scared behind my computer.
