St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will host the Bayou Bell Choir from Lake Charles on Saturday afternoon, playing over 18 selections of songs from favorite films and Broadway stages. The free hour program will be followed by a brief question and answer period and reception with refreshments.
The performance by the Bayou Bell Choir starts at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1031 South Carrollton Avenue. A reception following the program will take place in the Chalstrom House, located across from the church.
The Bayou Bell Choir plays under the direction of Bruce Allured, son of the late renowned composer and musician Donald Allured.
