Tulane University offers its entry into the festival season on Saturday, as the fifth annual Crawfest spreads three stages over its Lavin-Bernick Center and Newcomb Quad.

Musical acts include Givers (Lafayette pop band recently returned from South by Southwest and tours with Ra Ra Riot and the Dirty Projectors), Anders Osborne, 101 Runners, the Roots of Music with Rebirth Brass Band, The Revivalists, Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. and The Zydeco Twisters.

The music festival is free, but access to the crawfish is $10 for people unaffiliated with Tulane. Alcohol is not sold at the event, and coolers are not allowed.
