Man sought in fatal shooting at Fourth and Annunciation

Police are looking for a 24-year-old man they suspect in a fatal shooting June 28 at the corner of Fourth and Annunciation streets.

Leori Hyman is being charged with second-degree murder.

From the New Orleans Police Department Sixth District email list:

On June 28, 2010, members of the Sixth District responded to a shooting at the corner of 4th and Annunciation streets.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  EMS rendered aid to the victim, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.  Through their investigation, the Homicide Division developed Leori Hyman, Black Male, date of birth 5/9/86, as theperpetrator of this shooting.  A warrant was secured for the arrest of
Hyman for second degree murder.
