An alleged tool thief was arrested with the spoils of his crimes still in his hands after two early Friday auto burglaries in the Milan neighborhood, police said.Officers on patrol spotted Henry D. Foster, 47, bleeding from the hand and carrying tool boxes as he walked in the 3400 block of Baronne Street shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, and stopped him for questioning, according to a NOPD email alert. They determined the tool boxes came from two different auto burglaries that had just happened, one in the 1900 block of General Pershing and one in the 4000 block of Baronne, the alert said.

Foster is charged with two counts each of simple burglary and illegal possession of stolen things, according to the Orleans Parish sheriff’s office. He remained in jail Monday in lieu of a total $60,000 bond.
