I had a really nice time marching with the Jewish community and I am so glad that this parade was so well attended city-wide. I hope to see even more participation from a variety of groups in the future!! It also makes me sad that shortly after we passed through the area carrying signed of peace and signs noting that we need to end violence there was a shooting where 5 young men were injured. I do hope people will begin to follow MLK’s words and end discrimination and hate.
