Suspects sought in theft from front porch

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for two women wanted in a front-porch theft in the Audubon area of Uptown. On May 18, at 5:44 p.m., two woman got out of a blue station wagon in the 900 block of Octavia Street, according to security camera video. They walked onto a front porch, took a 3-by-4-foot mirror that was on the porch and carried it to the car, placing it in the back, police say. Suspects sought in theft of motor scooter in Garden District

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance in locating and identifying two suspects seen in video surveillance in the theft of a motor scooter May 16 in the 2800 block of Annunciation Street. The victim last observed her white 2013 Buddy motor scooter bearing Louisiana license plate MC542340 on May 15 at about 10 p.m. parked in front of her residence in the 2800 block of Annunciation Street. When she returned to the location at about 7:55 a.m. on May 16, she discovered her scooter was missing. At 12:57 a.m. on May 16, video surveillance captured footage of the two pictured subjects at the location and taking the victim’s scooter. Suspects sought in thefts of children’s toys, power tools, lawnmower

The New Orleans Police Department released photos from surveillance video related to two thefts outside Uptown homes, one involving a package of toys taken from a front porch and another involving a lawnmower and other tools taken from a backyard. In the Freret neighborhood, police are seeking to locate and identify a suspect in a package theft seen on video surveillance on May 10. At 2:35 a.m., an intruder in a hooded sweatshirt, with the hood tightly pulled over the head, entered the front yard of a home in 2300 block of Robert Street. The intruder walked onto the front porch and removed a boxed package that contained children’s toys. Surveillance video of this incident can be viewed at this link.

Suspects sought in porch-chair theft on Annunciation Street

The NOPD is searching for multiple unknown subjects wanted for theft in the West Riverside area. On May 4 at 11:10 p.m., intruders entered the front yard of a home in the 5200 block of Annunciation Street. They removed four metal lounge chairs — two white, one red and one beige — from the front porch and loaded them into a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, the police report said. CVS Pharmacy on Carrollton robbed by someone who had keys, knew codes

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a theft that occurred May 1 in the 3700 block of South Carrollton Avenue. At 11:05 p.m., a surveillance camera captured video of a man, pictured above, entering the CVS Pharmacy on Carrollton near Washington Avenue, using a key to open the door. The store had closed at 10 p.m.

He then reportedly used a security code assigned to one of the managers to disarm the security alarm, and then used a key to enter the manager’s office. Inside the office, he used the code to the safe to unlock it and then removed a large amount of cash. Store managers told police that the man caught on video is not an employee of the business.

Suspect sought in theft of $10,000 from car in Central City

The New Orleans Police Department has issued a photo, seen above, of a suspect in the robbery of $10,000 from a car in Central City. The incident occurred on May 1 in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue. The victim parked her vehicle to retrieve a lockbox from her trunk, which contained cash. The victim then placed the lockbox in the rear driver side passenger seat to add additional currency into the lockbox. At that time, a man entered the front passenger seat of her vehicle.

Police blotter: Suspects sought in armed robbery on Claiborne, theft on Maple Street

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the gunman pictured above committing of an armed robbery in a Hollygrove store on March 15. At about 8 p.m., a man with a mask over his face was seen entering a business in 8800 block of South Claiborne Avenue, near Eagle Street, armed with a handgun. He then reportedly robbed the business and an employee before fleeing, driving south on Claiborne toward Jefferson Parish. The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a subject who is wanted in connection with a theft that occurred at a store in the Riverbend area.

Suspect sought in theft of wallet from drugstore counter

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a man accused of stealing a wallet from a drugstore at St. Charles Avenue and Broadway. On Saturday, March 2, at around 7:31 p.m., the victim reportedly left his wallet on the counter after making a transaction. When the victim realized his wallet was missing, he went back to the store and discovered that his wallet was no longer at the counter. He contacted police.

Suspect sought in theft of bike from inside Uptown home

The New Orleans Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a subject believed to be responsible for a burglary in the 1000 block of Eleanore Street, between Chestnut and Coliseum streets, on Feb. 27. At about 9:15 a.m., a man illegally entered a residence in the Uptown block. Once inside of the residence, the intruder removed the victim’s yellow Trek mountain bike with yellow grips from the interior and fled on the bike. Theft of magnolia tree in Leonidis neighborhood caught on surveillance video

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a subject seen on surveillance video stealing a small tree from a residence in the 1800 block of Monroe Street on Feb. 8. At about 3 a.m., a bicyclist, pictured at right, was seen approaching the residence in the 1800 block of Monroe Street. The man was then seen taking a newly planted 3-foot magnolia tree from the exterior of the residence and fleeing the scene. Surveillance video of this incident can be viewed at this link.
