Theft of skeletons from Broadmoor porch caught on surveillance video

New Orleans police are seeking to locate the subjects sought in an investigation of theft in Broadmoor on Oct. 16. At around 1 a.m., surveillance cameras captured the pictured unknown subjects stealing two decorative skeletons from a homeowner’s porch in the 4200 block of South Galvez Street. The subjects fled down Galvez Street onto Napoleon Avenue.  See video here. Theft of checks from mailbox caught on video

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man observed on surveillance video committing a theft in the 5000 block of Prytania Street. On Aug. 14 around 5:40 a.m., a man was seen going through a mailbox and removing several envelopes containing. The subject then stuffed the checks in front of his pants and fled the scene. Anyone with information that can help Second District detectives identify and locate the wanted subject is asked to call 504-658-6020.

Suspect sought in cellphone theft

NOPD officers are seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate the pictured suspect in a theft incident that occurred near the intersection of Broadway and Zimpel streets. On Aug. 3 around 7:10 p.m., the victim was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with the pictured subject. During the fight, the victim’s cellphone fell on the ground. The subject allegedly picked up the victim’s cellphone and fled the scene.

Worker’s tools stolen from Hollygrove yard

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for two suspects, pictured above, in a theft from a Hollygrove yard. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Aug. 6,  at 12:40 p.m. in the 8700 block of Apple Street. The two males grabbed the victim’s yellow skill saw and yellow reciprocating saw from where they were lying outside on the residence where he was working. Lawn furniture theft in Leonidas caught on security camera

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect in the investigation of a theft reported in the 8400 block of Willow Street on June 16. At 10:18 p.m., the pictured intruder was seen scaling the front gate to gain access to the victim’s residence. While in the victim’s front yard, the unknown subject was seen removing both a lawn chair and small round table. The subject then fled the location on a bicycle with the items in an unknown direction. The suspect has a tattoo on the upper right side of his back and top left arm.

Costumed thief steals porch decoration

A masked thief was captured on video taking a decorative rabbit from a porch in the 2500 block of Joseph Street. The victim told police that, on June 10 at 4:18 a.m., she was awakened by a notification from her alarm service that there was movement on her front porch. The victim reportedly checked the surveillance footage and observed an individual approach her residence and remove the rabbit statue. The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the suspect, who was last seen wearing a “Michael Myers” mask, hospital scrubs and a bed sheet. Suspects sought in credit card theft

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured suspects in a theft by fraud incident that occurred in the Sixth District. On June 10, the victim’s vehicle was burglarized while parked in the 2200 block of Carondelet Street. Several credit cards were reportedly taken from the vehicle. On June 11, the victim observed fraudulent charges on his credit card. Through the course of the investigation, a man and woman were observed on surveillance video using one of the victim’s credit cards at a business located in the 2000 block of St.

Theft of porch furniture caught on video

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a man wanted in the theft of porch furniture in the East Carrollton neighborhood. The incident occurred on May 29 at 3:56 p.m. in the 1100 block of Dublin Street, the police report says. A security camera video shows a man riding up to the victim’s residence on a red-and-black bicycle pulling a red wagon, walking to the side of the victim’s residence and jumping onto the front porch. He then removed two wicker chairs and a small wicker table, police said. Suspects sought in theft from front porch

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for two women wanted in a front-porch theft in the Audubon area of Uptown. On May 18, at 5:44 p.m., two woman got out of a blue station wagon in the 900 block of Octavia Street, according to security camera video. They walked onto a front porch, took a 3-by-4-foot mirror that was on the porch and carried it to the car, placing it in the back, police say. Suspects sought in theft of motor scooter in Garden District

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance in locating and identifying two suspects seen in video surveillance in the theft of a motor scooter May 16 in the 2800 block of Annunciation Street. The victim last observed her white 2013 Buddy motor scooter bearing Louisiana license plate MC542340 on May 15 at about 10 p.m. parked in front of her residence in the 2800 block of Annunciation Street. When she returned to the location at about 7:55 a.m. on May 16, she discovered her scooter was missing. At 12:57 a.m. on May 16, video surveillance captured footage of the two pictured subjects at the location and taking the victim’s scooter.
