Suspect sought in package theft from Touro area

NOPD officers are seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect who is wanted in connection with a package theft that occurred in the Touro neighborhood. See surveillance video here. On Sept. 10 around 11 a.m., a package was strolen from the front porch of a residence located in the 3900 block of Camp Street. The subject then fled the area on foot.

Package theft in Milan neighborhood caught on security video

The New Orleans is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect who is wanted in connection with a package theft that occurred on Sept. 11 in the Milan neighborhood. The victim, who lives in the 1700 block of Gen. Pershing Street, told police that he reviewed his security footage and observed a woman remove a package from his front porch, without permission. The suspect was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt, dark shorts, a pink head wrap and multicolored shoes. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Sixth District detectives at 504-658-6060.

Octavia Street package theft caught on video

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking to identify and locate a suspect in the investigation of a theft that occurred on July 28 in the 1300 block of Octavia Street. At about 8:30 a.m., a woman walked onto the front porch of the victim’s residence. She was seen taking one of the victim’s packages left on the porch swing and placing it inside of her purse. The suspect then walked over to the victim’s mailbox, removed some of her mail and placed it inside of her purse. The suspect is further described as a white woman with dark hair wearing large straw hat, white dress with red flowers and black combat boots with a black backpack and black-and-white purse.

Package theft on Broadway caught on video
The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a man captured on surveillance video committing a theft in the 2500 block of Broadway. On March 28, at or around 5:26 p.m., a man approached the victim’s residence and removed a package from her front porch. The subject then fled the scene on a bicycle. Anyone with any information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts should contact Second District detectives at 504-658-6020. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.

Police identify suspect in Fern Street package theft

The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted for package theft in the Carrollton area. The incident occurred on Feb. 17 around 3 p.m. in the 1500 block of Fern Street. Police have identified a man captured on security camera video as Zachary Winfield, 47. He is accused of stealing a package containing Bare Minerals makeup from a front porch.

Package theft in Irish Channel caught on camera

New Orleans police are searching for a suspect in connection with a package theft from an Irish Channel front porch. The incident occurred Feb. 19 around 4 p.m. A vehicle was seen stopping in front of a residence in the 500 block of Fourth Street. A man was seen getting out of the vehicle, approaching a residence and stealing two packages. He then fled the scene.

Video shows man taking packages from porch on Broadway near Tulane University

The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate an individual seen on video surveillance in commission of a package theft in the 1200 block of Broadway, near Tulane University, on Feb. 8. At 2:27 p.m., the man shown at the right entered the enclosed front porch of the victim’s residence, the video shows. He removed three unopened packages from the porch, then fled on foot in an unknown direction. Surveillance footage of the incident can be viewed at this link.

Package theft on Arabella caught on video

The NOPD is investigating the theft of a package from a residence in the 600 block of Arabella Street that occurred on Feb. 2. At about 11:30 p.m., a man, pictured above, entered the victim’s front yard and stole a package containing a suit case and dog toys. Surveillance video of the incident can be viewed at this link.
