The Bridge House/Grace House substance-abuse treatment program will host its annual Christmas dinner for the local poor and homeless on Sunday, serving food and distributing packages with toiletries and clothing.

On Sunday, December 21, 2014 the Bridge House / Grace House substance abuse treatment center will once again host their annual Christmas Dinner to serve a hearty, holiday meal to the local New Orleans’ homeless and indigent population. Clothing will be distributed from our thrift stores to those in need. This year’s dinner will take place at Grace House at 1160 Camp Street between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

A true community effort to address a dire civic need, approximately 100 volunteers will serve the meal generously prepared by Harrah’s. Following the meal, volunteers will distribute packages of toiletries and clothing compliments of the Bridge House Thrift Stores to those in attendance. This meal is made possible through the generous cash and in-kind gifts of this community.
