Jimmy’s Music Club will return for three nights of music performances starting today (Thursday) to raise money for its legal battle against the city’s alcohol laws.

An overview of the concert series can be found at myneworleans.com by Ian McNulty. Club Owner Jimmy Anselmo shares his thoughts on the issue in detail at NOLA Defender, and more cooperation between Jimmy’s and the city (and less heated rhetoric) is urged by Alex Rawls of MySpiltMilk.com.

The full lineup for each day can be found at Jimmy’s website.

  1. Please everyone, why not have a night club that we can get to on the streetcar in our neighborhood? Help support Jimmy’s before “it ain’t dere no more”. He’s mounting up some pretty serious bills with his lawyer in this fight…. and any money left over will be donated to the musician’s clinic funding.
