City Councilwoman Stacy Head will give hens and hams to residents at two facilities for senior citizens Tuesday in celebration of the Easter Holiday, her office said.

Details, via emailed press release:

District B Councilmember Stacy Head will be celebrating this Easter tradition with local senior citizens in conjunction with several senior centers. “My focus continues to be improving the quality of life for all of residents of the City, especially those of our ‘Seasoned Citizens’ as we celebrate this Holy Week.”

Councilmember Head and her staff will be reaching out to members of Mercy Endeavors, (1017 Saint Andrew St.), Central City Senior Citizens and Broadmoor Seniors, (Allie Mae Williams Multi Service Center, 2020 Jackson Ave.), to provide them with either a hen or a ham to add to their Easter weekend festivities.

“Celebrating this Easter season with seniors in District B is one of the most satisfying aspects of my role as a City Councilmember. These Senior Centers continue to do an excellent job providing an environment where seniors can experience enrichment, civic and health activities”, said Councilmember Head.

The giveaway will be Tuesday, April the 3rd, from 11:30 to 12:30.
