Move to Amend is a coalition of people who are aiming to do something about it. And their national director is coming to New Orleans.

The New Orleans College Prep charter network can move on from the loss of one of its struggling elementary schools to become home to two ‘B’-rated schools over the course of the next school year, and go on to develop a reputation for both college readiness or a few tightly-focused career tracks separate from college, a candidate for the schools’ new CEO told their governing board on Thursday.

This morning the staff at The Broad woke up to a startling discovery. The entire lineup of films currently playing at the theater can now be called Oscar nominated films. Over the past twelve months we have played seven of the nine films nominated for Best Picture with four of those being played at this very moment. We even ended up playing one of the animated shorts with our free screening of REVOLTING RHYMES late last year.
