The Central Carrollton Association will lead a discussion around issues such as the Nix library renovations, maintenance of the neighborhood cemeteries, tree planting, street repairs, zoning issues and crime in their spring meeting and social Thursday evening.
The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thusday, March 9, at Riccobono’s Panola Street Cafe at 7801 Panola Street, with drinks and snacks. The association has invited speakers from City Councilwoman Susan Guidry’s office, the New Orleans Police Department Second District, and the mayor’s office.
“This spring social event will showcase CCA projects and committees,” according to the meeting announcement. “Come meet your neighbors and learn about volunteer opportunities.”
The Central Carrollton Association represents the area from South Carrollton to Broadway Street, between South Claiborne and Willow Street. For more information, see the website at ccaneworleans.org.
