Work on the water lines around the Louisiana and Jefferson avenue construction sites will cause low pressure for residents and businesses around those streets, according to the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans.

Boh Brothers Construction Company, working for S&WB, will perform a water line installation in the Uptown area.

Residents and businesses on Louisiana Avenue from Dryades Street to Loyola Avenue will experience low water pressure on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This work is part of the $82.6 million SELA Louisiana Avenue Drainage Canal Project.

Sewerage and Water Board will be performing water line work in the Uptown area. B&K Construction Company, working for Sewerage and Water Board and the US Army Corps of Engineers, will be capping an abandoned line that serviced the area.

Residents and businesses in the Uptown area will experience low water pressure on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This work is part of the $55.9 million Jefferson Avenue Canal Phase I- SELA Drainage Project.
