The Noodle & Pie restaurant at the corner of State and Magazine streets was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night by two masked men, New Orleans police said.
Two employees, a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, were inside the restaurant around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, July 14, when two masked men came in through a rear door, according to a NOPD report. One of the intruders had a gun, and they took money from the register and a money bag before leaving, the report states.
“Noodle & Pie was held up at gunpoint by some backdoor thieves tonight,” the business wrote on their Facebook page. “Anyone along State Street heading toward the river that has cameras around that area please let us know so we might help police in this matter.”
Anyone with information is urged to call the NOPD Second District station at 658-6020 to speak to a detective, or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
