The first indecent exposure incident took place around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at Palmer Park near South Claiborne and South Carrollton avenues, according to a security alert from the Tulane University Police Department. A woman was walking in the park when a man in an SUV drove up and asked her a question, and as she approached the vehicle to answer him, she saw that he was masturbating, the Tulane police report states.
About an hour later, a Loyola student was near Calhoun and Freret streets at the edge of campus when an SUV pulled up to the intersection and the driver asked for directions, the Tulane police report states. Like the first victim, she saw the man masturbating and left, the report states.
Around 8:15 p.m., another woman was near the same intersection when a vehicle pulled up with the driver asking for directions, the Tulane report states. As she began to answer, she saw that the driver was masturbating, so she walked away and the vehicle turned onto Calhoun Street and left, the report states.
“In all three incidents the description of the suspect is the same,” the Tulane report states. “He is described as a white male, approximately 40 years of age, bald, wearing a purple LSU polo shirt. The vehicle is described as a silver or gray SUV type vehicle with a decal sticker depicting a family on the back window.”
