The Martin Wine Cellar location on Baronne Street will host an anniversary open house event this Tuesday, May 24 to celebrate the exact date the original Martin’s location on Baronne Street opened in 1946. The event is free and open to the public and will feature live music, giveaways, and hors d’oeuvres.The anniversary open house will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at Martin Wine Cellar, located on 3827 Baronne Street.

  1. Our entire neighborhood rejoiced when Cedric Martin rebuilt his father Dave’s landmark business — bigger and better.
    I treasure a walk I once took down the Baronne “commercial corridor” with Cedric and Dave and the elder Mr. Martin could tell you what each building originally was and what it became.
    I just hope the Fine Arts Center building will continue to stand–as it has since 1917 — re-purposed or used as an entertainment venue.
    Three generations of my family have been happy customers of Martin’s. As long as they continue to make chicken salad and stock Grey Goose and Bailey’s, I’ll be there
