Low water pressure is expected on part of Prytania and Aline streets on Wednesday evening as part of the ongoing drainage canal construction on Louisiana Avenue, according to the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans.

Water pressure is expected to be low from 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, to 1 a.m. Thursday, on Prytania (from Louisiana Avenue to Amelia Street) and Aline Street (from Prytania to St. Charles Avenue), the S&WB announcement states.

Boh Brothers Construction Company will be tying in a new water main as part of the $82 million SELA project on Louisiana Avenue.
