Saturday night, Tulane won their first game of the 2015 season, beating the University of Maine 38-7 in Yulman Stadium. The Wave brought a balanced approach to the game. Quarterback Tanner Lee led all quarterbacks, completing 16 of 27 passes for 277 yards and one touchdown. The Wave brought a fierce running attack to Satuday’s matchup. Three running backs scored touchdowns. Dontrell Hilliard led all running backs with eight rushes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Sherman Badie led all receivers with five receptions for 118 yards. The Wave held the Black Bears to 296 yards of total offense. The Wave will host American Athletic Conference rivals the University of Central Florida (0-3) on October 3rd.
