Calhoun Street and several blocks around it in the university area will have low water pressure again on Saturday for more repairs, according to the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans.

Water pressure is expected to be low from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, during repairs to a 16-inch water main, according to a S&WB news release. It will affect the following areas:

  • Calhoun Street from Willow to Garfield,
  • The lake side of St. Charles Avenue from Calhoun Street to Nashville Avenue,
  • State and Palmer streets, both from St. Charles Avenue to Loyola Avenue,
  • Rosa Park and Everett Place.
