New Orleans police are seeking the public’s help in locating two men who are wanted in connection with separate armed robberies that took place last month on St. Charles Avenue and Friday on Danneel Street.
George Albert Minor, 50, is wanted in connection with the July 12 armed robbery in the 1700 block of St. Charles Avenue, according to a NOPD news release. In that case, a man and a woman in their 20s were standing near Euterpe Street when they were robbed at gunpoint of their phones and money, police said at the time.
Minor’s last known address, around 15 years ago, was the 5700 block of North Claiborne Avenue.
Daniel Hankton, 23, is wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place around 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Danneel Street, according to a separate NOPD release.
Hankton’s last known address is in the 2700 block of Fourth Street.
Anyone with information about the location of either man is urged to call the NOPD Sixth District station at 658-6060 to speak to a detective or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
