A 32-year-old man died Sunday evening when he lost control of a four-wheeler and crashed into a parked car on Hollygrove Street in the Dixon neighborhood, New Orleans police said.

The victim was driving the four-wheeler “at a high rate of speed” in the 4100 block of Hollygrove Street (between Marks and Pear streets) around 8 p.m., when he “side swiped a parked Ford Focus and slammed into the rear of a parked Toyota SUV,” according to a NOPD news release. He was taken to the hospital, and later died, the release states.

What caused the man to lose control of the vehicle remains unknown, and an autopsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of death, the release states.

What makes this man a victim? Is he a victim of the evil 4 wheeler companies or a victim of the deplorable condition of our streets? Or is he not a victim, just an idiot.
