New Orleans Police investigators are looking for a man accused of robbing two people during the heat of an argument last week in the Hoffman Triangle area of Central City, authorities said.

Gregory Johnson, 35, was arguing with a woman in the 2500 block of South Galvez around 1 a.m. last Thursday (June 5), when another man attempted to intervene, according to police reports at the time. Another man tried to intervene, but Johnson pulled a gun and robbed them both of their cell phones and cash, police said.

Johnson is now wanted on a charge of armed robbery, officers with the NOPD Sixth District said Wednesday.

Sixth District detectives are also seeking the public’s help identifying and locating suspects in recent shoplifting and theft cases.
