Stay Local Retail Workshop Series

Stay Local, Greater New Orleans’ independent business alliance, is pleased to announce their “Retail Therapy” summer workshop series for retailers. Every Tuesday and Wednesday in July, selected speakers will cover topics geared to help both existing and aspiring local, independent retailers of all skill levels run better businesses and connect with fellow retail entrepreneurs. Each workshop will be from 8:30-10:00 AM in Good Work Network’s Franz Conference room, at 2022 O.C. Haley Blvd. For more information on the series, click here.

All the details you need to know:

  • Each session is free for Stay Local members, $10/session for non-members.
  • While the workshops were specifically crafted with retailers in mind, a number of topics have broader applicability, so all interested folks are welcome to attend. Advanced registration is recommended.
  • You can attend however many sessions as you’d like.
  • Can’t make a session you want to hear? Feel free to send employees in your place!
  • Each workshop will feature a ~45 min presentation, followed by Q&A.
  • Coffee and light breakfast will be served.

The series is facilitated in partnership with Good Work Network, a business development organization that provides services to minority and female-owned businesses in Southeast Louisiana, and Avalon Retail Consulting, a New Orleans-based retail consulting agency founded in 1996.
