Family Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebration Featuring The Fountainheads Live in Concert
Celebrate Israel’s 66th Independence Day with a performance by The Fountainheads at the Family Yom Ha’atzmaut Celebration on May 12. At 5:00 p.m., the Rabbinic Council of New Orleans will hold its annual Yom Hazikaron service in the Grant Board Room of the New Orleans JCC, located at 5342 St. Charles Avenue. This service commemorates the soldiers who fell in the defense of Israel and those killed in terrorist attacks. The fun begins at 5:15 p.m. with a light, Israeli-style dinner followed by a performance by Ein Prat Fountainheads. All ages will enjoy The Fountainheads, a group of young Israeli singers, dancers, and musicians whose videos and live concerts are popular around the world. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Cathy and Morris Bart, the celebration is free and open to the public.
