Three women in their early 20s were tied up and robbed of their belongings Friday afternoon at a home on Panola Street in east Carrollton, New Orleans police said.

The women were sitting on the steps of a home in the 7800 block of Panola Street around 5 p.m. Friday when three men approached, implying that they had a weapon, according to the initial police report. The men forced the women inside and tied them up, then took their iPads, iPhones, cash and debit cards before leaving on foot, the report states.

Further details were not immediately available. Anyone with information is urged to call the NOPD Second District at 658-6020 or CrimeStoppers at 822-1111 to leave an anonymous tip that could be eligible for a cash reward.
