Investigators have released a second sketch in an ongoing effort to identify a man who called himself “Patrick” before attacking a woman and attempting to strangle her inside a Carrollton home last week, New Orleans police said.
The second sketch, hand-drawn instead of computer generated, is more accurate according to the victim, said NOPD Officer Frank Robertson III, a departmental spokesman.
The man had spoken to the victim outside the home in the 8200 block of Green, but she ended the conversation and went inside, police said at the time. She went to the bathroom, but when she came out, she saw the same man standing in the hallway her house with a rope in his hands, police said. He tried to strangle her, but she fought her way off of him and managed to call police.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall, muscular-built white man in his early 20s, with blond hair in a crew cut and freckles on his face, police have said.
